Local QR payments

Paybrok supports direct Paybrok QR payments and local bank or wallet QR payments coordinated through approved providers.

Two QR models

Local QR flow

  1. The user scans a bank, wallet or merchant QR.
  2. Paybrok identifies country, method, amount and reference when available.
  3. The user confirms the amount and asset.
  4. Paybrok shows compatible providers by country, method, liquidity and limits.
  5. The provider pays the local QR through the local bank or wallet app.
  6. The user settles the digital side in Paybrok with USDC, EURC or XLM.
  7. The order is tracked with status, provider, reference, receipts, chat and evidence.

Notifications and movements

Direct account deposits create a notification for the destination account and appear in Movements with a blockchain network proof. Local QR payments are tracked inside Paybrok Local because the merchant receives local money, not crypto. Remittances live in My remittances, and protected payments live in My agreements; only the crypto leg has network proofs.

Operation chat

Remote operations keep conversation and evidence inside the Paybrok object that owns the flow. Local QR orders can include the payer, the provider and the destination account or invited counterparty when present. The Paybrok admin account can receive message, document and dispute notifications so support can review evidence and answer from the admin panel. If the merchant only has a bank QR, the provider documents the local payment with a reference, receipt or screenshot.

Safety rule: if the local app does not clearly show the expected merchant or recipient, the provider must confirm before paying.
