Protected purchases

Buy without fear of being scammed

Buying from someone you do not know well? Do not send money directly. Use Paybrok: funds stay locked until you confirm you received what you expected.

The simple idea

The seller knows funds exist. You know they are not released until delivery matches the agreement.

If there is a problem, the agreement keeps evidence, timestamps, messages and references for claims.

When to use Paybrok for purchases

Marketplace and social

Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, OLX, peer-to-peer listings and local groups.

Higher-value items

Used vehicles, electronics, equipment, spare parts, second-hand goods or reservations.

Unknown small stores

New sellers, small shops or providers you have never paid before.

Advance payments

Reservations, deposits for future services, scheduled deliveries or custom orders.

How the flow works

  1. You agree with the seller on product, price and delivery deadline.
  2. You create the digital agreement in Paybrok and the seller signs it.
  3. You deposit the funds. They stay locked in a protected contract.
  4. The seller ships and uploads a photo, file or tracking number.
  5. You receive the product and confirm in the app.
  6. The funds are released to the seller according to the agreement.

What if you do not receive what was promised?

If the product does not arrive, arrives damaged or does not match the agreement, you do not confirm release. You open a dispute with evidence: photos, videos, messages, tracking or files. Paybrok helps organize the review and keeps a documented history that can support complaints, mediation or legal action when appropriate.

Typical cases

Used laptop

Camila bought a laptop on a marketplace. She paid with Paybrok, the seller shipped, and Camila confirmed after receiving it. Payment released.

Phone listing

Diego paid with Paybrok. The seller never shipped and stopped responding. Diego opened a dispute with screenshots and the history was ready for a claim.
